The Project
This project was an multidisciplinary team project. Each team was composed of two students from product design, interior design, and graphic design. The goal of the project was to create an experience to connect different cultures around the world. The solution needed to embrace the Chevy brand and connect each culture. Our team’s final concept was a photo scavenger hunt that allowed people to grab our cameras and follow the prompt to take photos related to the client and their brand. Then all the images came together to create a large projection in each city that showed all the images from around the world. Connecting people in each region through images. We went through several phases and presentations throughout this project.
Starting with our research phase and presentation. I created the presentation and presented our findings on the regions and some good examples of experience design. Next phase, was a generous amount of ideation and sketching to come up with our final three concepts to present to the client.
Grab! Snap! Share! Promotional
The video was a way for the audience to learn and understand what the experience was and to gain hype for the upcoming event experience.
Promotional Materials
We created a series of posters and a single poster to gain more attention for the event, as well as, photo takeaways for the participate. We also wanted this to be an ongoing event by creating a website that can live on with the cameras and continue to show their journey wherever it may take them.
Final Presentation
The final presentation consisted of building out a thorough walkthrough of out final concept where myself and two other members presented to top level executives and designers from Czarnowski and Chevy. Against three other teams we were chosen for second place.
Presentation Boards
The presentation boards showed the projects story and details for the entire set of events. The event space shows the kiosk and interactive levers to activate the projection. The custom Chevy inspired camera and the camera dispenser all based off the angles of the Chevy "bowtie" logo.
